Ubisoft’s E3 2017 Plans Include More Far Cry 5, Details on Next Assassin’s Creed & New Titles

Hosted by developers, Ubisoft’s E3 2017 press conference will take place on Monday, June 12 at 1pm PT/4pm ET at the Orpheum Theatre, and it will be preceded by a 40-minute pre-show, the company announced today. You’ll be able to watch it live on YouTube, Twitch, or Ubisoft’s website.

During E3 2017, you can expect Ubisoft to show more from Far Cry 5 and South Park: The Fractured But Whole; reveal details on the next Assassin’s Creed, Just Dance, and The Crew games; and debut “new titles across a variety of platforms.” They also promise a full week of entertainment to keep visitors and viewers at home engaged.

In the lineup reveal trailer, Ubisoft says “most of the titles are unannounced and in the conference.” The video then shows footage from previously announced games, as well as “footage removed” images for a conference exclusive, a new IP saved for the conference, new South Park: The Fractured But Whole Easter Eggs deemed a PR risk, something Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot will announce during the conference, a Far Cry 5 feature to be shown at the conference, and another conference exclusive.

Towards the end of the video, Ubisoft shows that the press conference will be hosted by devs, adding “but we still love you Aisha [Tyler, host in previous years].”

Guillemot said in a statement:

E3 is truly a moment of excitement and pride, not just for Ubisoft but for our entire industry. Ultimately, Ubisoft’s games are the result of the collective efforts of our talented teams from all around the world, collaboration with the biggest names in entertainment, and contributions from the players themselves. That’s why we can’t wait for the thousands of fans at this year’s E3 – and the millions watching from home – to discover our unique take on creating game worlds and the action-packed line-up we have in store for them.

We’ll be covering the Ubisoft E3 2017 press conference, so stay tuned for all the big news.
