Tekken 7 update 1.09 patch notes

Xbox Store Listing Suggests Tekken 7’s Geese Howard Will Release This Month

Tekken 7‘s Geese Howard DLC has been given an official release window of “Winter 2017,” and if an Xbox store listing is anything to go by, we might be able to get our hands on the character towards the end of this month.

Twitter user Wonkey pointed out that Geese, who was first unveiled in July, has appeared online with a release date of November 30. Although this could be a placeholder, a Season Pass owner has reported that he’s been able to download the fighter. However, he’s unavailable to play at the moment. An in-game message states that some content is only playable once Tekken 7‘s latest version has been installed, which suggests that an update is also incoming.

Considering we’re more than halfway through November, it’s likely that an official announcement will be made real soon so stay tuned for updates. In the meantime, make sure to check out Geese Howard’s most recent gameplay footage. “He’s basically a 2D character,” Harada explained previously. “As you can see, he’s got all these elements that help him match our game.” We’re also told that although he bears some resemblance to Akuma, Geese will play differently.
