EA, People Can Fly and Epic Games had not so long ago pulled back the curtain on their latest ‘epic’ looking shooter, Bulletstorm. During EA’s press conference, Bulletstorm’s anticipated release date has been announced.
During Electronic Arts just-held press conference, it has been confirmed that the upcoming shooter will be releasing on February 22nd, 2011.
In Bulletstorm players step into the role of the game’s protoginist, Grayson Hunt, who is equipped with an arsenal of “over-the-top combat moves and outrageously large guns.”
The game will also feature ’skillshots’; a gameplay element which produces unprecedented levels of frantic gameplay and satisfaction. The skillshot system rewards players for causing mayhem in the most creative way possible. By successfully carrying out ‘skillshot’s players collects points which then can be used to upgrade their character and unlock weapons – leading to execute even more creative moves and exaggerated skillshots.
Bulletstorm is described as one of “next year’s most anticipated original games” so you won’t want to miss this.
