The Tales series has been doing extremely well in Japan this generation, with Western audiences begging for localization. Namco Bandai announced in exciting fashion that Tales of Graces F, which is one of the series most acclaimed releases, will be coming to North American and European shores next year. Now they’ve placed a tight release window, and it’s favorably in the early part of next year.
Josh Sepielli, Brand Manager at Namco Bandai, has revealed that Tales of Graces F will be released upon the Western masses toward the “beginning of 2012.” Estimates place the release date around February, but it has also been mentioned that more details about the release and a solid release date will be announced sometime in the next couple weeks.
Tales of Graces F is an upgraded version of the Wii’s Tales of Graces, which was released in 2009. It contains an extra epilogue and nearly 33% additional story (layered on top of the original’s lengthy experience), in addition to much improved visuals and additional costumes. Needless to say, even those who have played the original version have reason to try this version out, and it’s exclusive to the PlayStation 3, further expanding Sony’s impressive library.
Stay tuned for an official release date for Tales of Graces F.
