While PlayStation gamers have been blessed with a number of HD collections from the PS2 era, there are a handful of noticeable exceptions that have left role-playing fanatics up in arms. One such collection is the trilogy of Xenosaga titles that launched on Sony’s last-gen console.
In response to outcries on the PlayStation Blog for such a collection, community manager Morgan Haro explained that such a decision rests solely on the shoulders of the publisher. So if gamers want the collection, they’d be better served pleading to Namco.
Make your voice heard on the Namco Bandai forums to have the best possible chance to see this through.
They’d need to sign off on it, but there are technical considerations as well (like will it work with the PS3 firmware to emulate this PS2 title).
