PlayStation Vita System Software Update Version 2.11 Available, is Optional
Update: Version 2.11 “will improve system software stability for some features.”
Shortly after the 2.10 update for PlayStation Vita became available (which added folders and more), Sony has released system software update version 2.11 for the handheld. This one is completely optional and it only takes a few minutes to fully download and install.
We looked around and couldn’t find any notes or details for what 2.11 does, so it’s likely just the usual behind the scenes stability updates associated with these optional downloads.
We’ll continue to look for what 2.11 changed, but if you happen to notice anything major, please let us know in the comments below or by sending an email to [email protected].
