Analyst: 75% of Watch Dogs Sales in the US Were on PS4 & Xbox One

After premiering to over 4 million copies sold worldwide in its first week on the market, and placing first in the May 2014 NPD report, Cowen & Company analyst Doug Creutz has given us some more insight into how well Watch Dogs did in the US:

Fifty percent of total May sales came from May releases. That’s a record high for the month going back to 2001. We view the strong Watch Dogs sales — 75 percent of which came from the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One — as evidence that new hardware is helping to revitalize software demand.

It’s important to note that Creutz is just talking about US retail sales for Watch Dogs (and possibly not even calculating PC), but it’s still a good measure for how quickly people are adopting the new consoles.

Which system did you buy Watch Dogs for?
