While we knew The Walking Dead Season 3 would take some time before it actually releases, Telltale Games PR Director Job J Stauffer confirmed on Twitter that it won’t be starting until at least 2016:
To re-clarify, no, TWD S3 is *not* starting in 2015. But what I am seeing this week will be, and it is insanely cool. Stay close, news soon!
When someone said this meant there was no Telltale’s The Walking Dead in 2015, Stauffer replied, “I didn’t say that…. ;).”
He further teased that what’s coming before Season 3 is “….something BIG for WD fans…”
It’s possible Telltale is working on another The Walking Dead side-episode like 400 Days, while it’s also possible something for Fear The Walking Dead might be in development. Whatever the case, we’ll be hearing details soon, so stay tuned.
