Smite PS4 Patch Heralds Optional 60fps Mode, Bug Fixing

Developer Hi-Rez Studios has outlined the latest patch headed to the console versions of Smite

Already live for those on Xbox One, the studio revealed that the update will roll out for PlayStation 4 tomorrow, April 12. The reason behind the slight delay is that Hi-Rez is adding trophies, though it should be noted that future patches “should be in parity” across both systems.

As for the actual content, an optional 60fps mode will be introduced, along with Skadi, the goddess of winter. There’s also new skins including the Ordo Solarus Amaterasu, Thunder’s Roar Raijin, Hellrider Chiron, and K-9 Anubis.

You’ll find the official rundown of update 3.5, below.

New Console Features

60 frame per second mode is available
Select “Enable Upcoming Features” in the options menu to unlock 60 FPS
God selection is now presented in the new grid match for all modes except for training maps

Console Bug Fixes

Season Ticket Match picks now save properly
Fixed Sol’s Diamond/Legendary skin loading cards not displaying
Fixed voice pack issues in Grid Match lobby
Fixed issue with skins not displaying in grid match lobby
Fixed a bug in the gods page that caused players to see a blank scene
Fixed several typos in award descriptions
Fixed an issue where single option bundles were unable to be purchased

PlayStation 4 users will be able to download the latest Smite patch from tomorrow, April 12.
