Rocket League October Update Will Add a New Underwater Arena

With the September Update only a couple of weeks old, developer Pysonix has already given us an idea of what to expect in Rocket League’s October Update. The biggest new addition will be the free AquaDome stage, which is “inspired by the seven seas, the creatures beneath the waves, and the machines we use to study both.” The first standard Arena since Utopia Coliseum, AquaDome will be available on every playlist, including Competitive.

“Available in both casual and competitive playlists, the FREE AquaDome arena is a transparent glass dome hidden at the bottom of the ocean, teeming with aquatic life, including jellyfish, great white sharks, and more,” Psyonix says.

On top of AquaDome, the Rocket League October Update will bring two new paid Battle-Cars: Triton (a slick, futuristic ocean sub) and Proteus (a more science-minded research vessel). They’ll be priced at $1.99 USD each, and you can see them in action in the above trailer.
