Dragon Quest Builders Sells Over 1.1 Million Units Worldwide

Square Enix has announced that its sandbox title, Dragon Quest Builders, has sold more than 1.1 million units worldwide. The game, which released in Japan in January this year, came to the West in October for the PlayStation 4 and PS Vita (Japan got a PS3 version as well).

Accompanying the announcement was the release of an “Ultimate Hits” version for Japan alongside free DLC items that were originally available as Day One Edition bonuses. Square Enix hasn’t announced anything similar for the West to celebrate the milestone.

In our review, we lauded Dragon Quest Builders for its “charming visual style, fluid combat,” and its awesome crafting system while noting that it’s “Minecrafting with a purpose.” If you haven’t already, make sure to read our review in full here (spoiler: we really liked it).

Did any of our readers enjoy Dragon Quest Builders as much as we did?
