Red Hood Is Coming to Injustice 2 on June 13

Red Hood is one of the most recognizable characters in the DC universe, or more specifically the Batman franchise, and he’s finally coming to Injustice 2 next week as part of the game’s Fighter Pack 1 DLC and ostensibly the game’s first DLC character.

During NetherRealm’s recent Watchtower stream, the game’s developers revealed that Red Hood would be released on Tuesday, June 13, but only for those who purchased either the Deluxe or Ultimate Edition of Injustice 2 or those who purchased the Fighter Pack 1 DLC.

The Fighter Pack 1 DLC can be purchased for $20 and will also include Starfire and Sub-Zero from Mortal Kombat. While we already know Red Hood’s release date, there’s still no announcement on when both Starfire and Sub-Zero will make their way to the game.

Additionally, the Deluxe Edition of the game will also include both Starfire and Sub-Zero while the Ultimate Edition will include all nine of the currently planned DLC characters.

As for those who don’t have any of the aforementioned versions of the game or the Fighter Pack, Red Hood will be available as a stand-alone purchase for everyone else around a week after his initial release, although the developers didn’t give an exact date or price.
