Note: There are 26 Hidden trophies in this game. They are not hidden in this guide for obvious reasons. Read at your own risk!
Platinum Artist (Platinum) – Earn all of the Bronze, Silver and Gold Trophies in Guitar Hero Metallica
– Earn all Bronze, Silver, and Gold trophies to unlock the Platinum.
The More I See (Bronze) – Complete the Tutorials
– Complete the Tutorial for all instruments. Note: Rock Band Drums will NOT work for the Drum Tutorial.
Metallica (Silver) – Complete any instrument career on Expert (Guitar, Bass, Vocals, Drums or Band)
– You may either play through the entire career on Expert or just finish “The Thing That Should Not Be” on Expert at the end of an easy career. The trophy will unlock either way.
James Hetfield (Bronze) – Complete the career as the vocalist
– Attain 75 stars and finish “The Thing That Should Not Be” as the vocalist on any difficulty.
Lars Ulrich (Bronze) – Complete the career as the drummer
– Attain 75 stars and finish “The Thing That Should Not Be” as the drummer on any difficulty.
Kirk Hammett (Bronze) – Complete the career as the guitarist
– Attain 75 stars and finish “The Thing That Should Not Be” as the guitarist on any difficulty.
Robert Trujillo (Bronze) – Complete the career as the bassist
– Attain 75 stars and finish “The Thing That Should Not Be” as the bassist on any difficulty.
Holier Than Thou (Gold) – Complete all instrument careers
– Complete the career mode as vocalist, drummer, guitarist, and bassist.
One (Bronze) – Complete a song with any instrument on Hard or Expert in local Quickplay or Career
– Complete any song on Hard or Expert. Here are the easiest songs for each instrument:
Vocalist – “War Ensemble”
Drummer – “Nothing Else Matters”
Guitarist – “For Whom The Bell Tolls”
Bassist – “Turn The Page(Live)”
…And Justice for All (Silver) – Earn 100 stars in Band Career or any single instrument Career
– This can be somewhat time consuming. You have to earn 100 stars in a career…so if you 5 star 20 songs you have yourself a shinny new trophy.
The Ecstacy of Gold (Silver) – Earn $15,000
– You will earn money every time you complete a song. The amount you earn is based on your difficulty level and performance.
Damage Inc. (Bronze) – Perform as the drummer
– Complete a song as the drummer.
Motorbreath (Bronze) – Perform as the vocalist
– Complete a song as the vocalist.
Invisible Kid (Bronze) – Perform as the bassist
– Complete a song as the bassist.
Some Kind of Monster (Bronze) – Perform as the guitarist
– Complete a song as the guitarist.
Ride the Lightning (Bronze) – All band members trigger star power simultaneously (4 player band)
– You may do this online or local. Have all 4 members be in star power at the same time to achieve an 8X band multiplier. Once you get an 8X multiplier you will unlock the trophy.
2 X 4 (Bronze) – Earn a band Hot Streak (4 player band)
– This can be done online or local. Band Hot Streaks normally come around the 50 Note Streak area. Have all 4 members playing flawlessly for a while and you will unlock this trophy.
Metal Militia (Silver) – 100% a song (4 player band)
– This can be done online or local. You may do this on any difficulty. I would suggest playing a song that you know and like. Just keep trying until you get 100% on all 4 instruments.
Master of Puppets (Bronze) – Earn the highest individual score on a song in a band (4 player band)
– This can be done online or local. All you have to do for this trophy is play better than everyone else in your band. I would suggest guitar or drums as they have the most notes to hit.
The Struggle Within (Bronze) – Complete a song in a band in Quickplay or Career (4 players)
– This can be done online or local. Just finish any song in quickplay with all 4 players in the band to unlock the trophy.
The Four Horsemen (Bronze) – Complete a song with all band members on expert in Quickplay or Career (4 player band)
– This can be done online or local. If you are not a Guitar Hero fanatic and cannot play on Expert…do not fret. You only have to complete the song. I would highly recommend “For Whom The Bell Tolls”.
Nothing Else Matters (Silver) – Complete the career in a band (2-4 player band)
– This may be done online or local. Just complete career mode with someone. This does not need to be a 4 player band.
Black (Bronze) – Win an online battle match with the Fade to Black power up
– Refer to the video below.

Better Than You (Bronze) – Win an online Pro Face-Off match
– Win any online Pro Face-Off match. You may boost this with a friend, or do it legitamitly.
Blitzkrieg (Bronze) – Win an online Band v Band match (8 players)
– Win a Band vs. Band match. You may boost this if you can find another 4 player band.
Seek & Destroy (Bronze) – Play 20 online matches
-As it says, complete 20 online matches. You are not required to win to unlock this trophy.
The Unforgiven (Bronze) – Win an online Face-Off match
– Win any online Face-Off match. You may boost this with a friend or do this legit.
The Unforgiven II (Bronze) – Win an online Face-Off match by 25,000 points or more
– Win any online Face-Off by 25,000 points. You may boost this with a friend or do this legit.
The Unforgiven III (Bronze) – Win an online Pro Face-Off match by 25,000 points or more
– Win any online Pro Face-Off by 25,000 points. You may boost this with a friend or do this legit.
Reload (Bronze) – Download a song from GHTunes
– Go to music store and download any random song.
Cure (Bronze) – Recover from a poor performance in Quickplay or Career
– Let your rock meter get into the red then recover into the green and finish the song.
Disposable Heroes (Bronze) – Create a new custom rocker
– In Career mode you may create a rocker to unlock this trophy.
Green Hell (Silver) – Drum every green note and finish the song Blood and Thunder with the rock meter in green
– Play “Blood and Thunder” as the drummer and hit every green note. You must finish the song with the rock meter in green as well.
Blackened (Bronze) – Create a new custom tattoo
– When creating a character, you have the option to add tattoos to your rocker. Create your own to unlock the trophy.
Eye of the Beholder (Bronze) – Create a new custom band logo
– When creating your character, you have the option to create a band logo. Create a logo to unlock the trophy.
Fixxxer (Bronze) – Create a new custom instrument (guitar, drums, mic)
– When creating your character, you have the option to customize your instruments. Do so to unlock the trophy.
