Crysis 2′s Final Build Proves Crytek Correct, PS3 Version is Solid

March 20, 2011 Written by Jonathan Leack

Crysis 2 has garnered massive attention in the recent week due to an erroneous PlayStation 3 demo which released to thousands of excited gamers. The demo was later pulled by Crytek, and they stated that it was running on an older build, along with having some problematic network code issues. Crytek then challenged anyone to find a “meaningful difference” between the Xbox 360 and PS3 version of the title, and judging by the demo that was simple as pie. However, footage from the final build has emerged, and it appears that the PlayStation 3 edition of Crysis 2 will be on solid ground after all.

User agino11 on YouTube has posted a full playthrough for the PlayStation 3 version of Crysis 2. Below is one of the dozens of videos of his playthrough, and a quick gander reveals some very positive data for PS3 gamers.

WARNING: The below video contains spoilers for the campaign mode of Crysis 2. The video was recorded toward the beginning of the game, but please be advised.

My question to you is, judging from the video above, would you say Crysis 2 or Killzone 3 looks better?
