Get The PS Vita a Week Earlier With the ‘First Edition Bundle’

October 27, 2011 Written by Sebastian Moss

Looking forward to getting your hands on the PlayStation Vita on February 22nd? Well, how would you like it if you could get the handheld even earlier – without having to spend $1000 to import? In a surprising marketing move, SCEA has announced a special Vita bundle that will release on February 15th, 2012.

For “a limited time” in the US and Canada, the PS Vita ‘First Edition bundle’ will be pre-sold at selected retail locations, from today (currently only available on Amazon for pre-order).

The US bundle includes:

  • A PS Vita 3G + Wi-Fi model
  • A limited edition case
  • 4GB PS Vita Memory Card
  • Little Deviants

The package will cost $349.99, $50 more than the $299.99 for the standard 3G Vita, and $100 more than the Wi-Fi only model.

The Canadian bundle includes:

  • A PS Vita Wi-Fi model
  • A limited edition case
  • 4GB PS Vita Memory Card
  • Little Deviants

The Canadian bundle will cost $299.99. Sadly, a bundle like this has not been announced for Europe.

It’s important to note that for the first week you’ll have the Vita, Little Deviants might be the only game available on the system, as all launch day titles are set to release on Feb 22nd.
