August 14, 2012 Written by Alex Osborn

Sony’s gamescom press conference was filled with a number of exciting announcements, not the least of which center around the upcoming Call of Duty Vita title Black Ops: Declassified.

The game will support 4v4 competitive multiplayer online, with classic modes like team deathmatch and Kill Confirmed. In addition, the game will take place between the events of Black Ops 1 and the upcoming sequel, serving as a nice narrative tie that links the story.

The game will take advantage of the Vita’s unique capabilities, providing touch support as well as Near functionality. To get a first look at some in-game footage, check out the reveal trailer below.

Activision and Sony will also be releasing a PS Vita bundle pack that includes a copy of Black Ops: Declassified, the handheld itself, and a Call of Duty themed pouch.
