Over the weekend, a listing for Call of Duty: Ghosts popped up on GameStop Spain’s website (since deleted), which led to some people thinking that a Vita version of the upcoming release had been leaked.

Unfortunately, Dan Amrich, Activision’s Community Manager, de-spelled any notion of this being truth by saying, “Sorry, no Vita COD that I’m aware of. Right now, only Angry Birds Star Wars is confirmed for Vita from Activision.” He also replied to other people, “I’m afraid it’s not an accurate listing. Preorder if you like and see what happens, but there’s no Vita version of Ghostsand that it was an “over excited retailer. Sorry, no Vita Ghosts. Right now, only Angry Birds Star Wars is confirmed for Vita from Activision.”

While the PlayStation Vita may not be getting Call of Duty: Ghosts, Amrich did address the Call of Duty we do have: Black Ops Declassified. When someone said, “We were hoping that Activision would make up for Declassified,” Dan replied with, “I’ve heard from people who can’t stand Declassified, and others who say it’s their favorite Vita game. Go figure.”

As well, someone brought up the fact that the single player can be beat in 45 minutes, to which Dan said, “Wasn’t designed to be an in-depth SP campaign. Short missions on the go. After that, MP.”
