Assassin’s Creed Unity Update Will Address Crashing, Ubisoft Looking Into Frame-Rate Issues (Update)

Update:

An update for Assassin’s Creed Unity has been deployed on PlayStation 4, fixing the Helix Credits issue.

Original Story:

Having already released a day one patch for Assassin’s Creed Unity, Ubisoft is now working on fixing specific issues reported by players, with the next update addressing these problems:

  • Arno falling through the ground
  • Game crashing when joining a co-op session
  • Arno getting caught inside of hay carts
  • Delay in reaching the main menu screen at game start

Following this, Ubisoft will look at many of the other issues with Unity. While the list doesn’t include everything they’re working on patching, here’s what’s been the most widely-reported problems so far:

  • Frame-rate issues
  • Graphical and collision issues
  • Matchmaking co-op issues
  • Helix Credits issues

If you bought Helix Credits but never received anything, Ubisoft says, “We’re working on this issue right now! Don’t worry, your purchase records are still intact so you won’t lose any Helix Credits.”

Ubisoft promises more details in the coming days, with the next update scheduled to release “very soon.”
