Square Enix has announced that the PS4 Remaster of the PS3 Remaster of Final Fantasy X and X-2 will be released in mid May, specifically May 12 for North America, May 14 for Japan and May 15 for Europe. Here’s a look at the visual upgrade, with PS3 on the left and PS4 on the right:
Cross-save is there for people who want to spend like eight thousand dollars on every version of this game. Take your save data anywhere, across PS3, PS4, and Vita. It also supports Vita remote play and offers the ability to switch between remastered and original soundtracks.
So if you missed this on PS3 or Vita, here’s your chance. You jumping in? I just replayed this a year ago, and anymore, a year feels so recent. I don’t have it in me. These are good games, but I’d rather get to the new stuff, or go through old games that I’ve played less recently than just last year.
