Along with the 20th anniversary of PlayStation and 16th anniversary of the Dreamcast in North America, today also marks the 1st anniversary of Destiny, prompting Bungie to send out the above tweet.
Destiny Year Two officially began yesterday with the release of update 2.0, where Bungie made a ton of changes to the game ahead of The Taken King’s launch on September 15.
One of the major differences with 2.0 is the replacement of Peter Dinklage with Nolan North as the Ghost. To see how North compares to Dinklage, Polygon created this video:
Meanwhile, for those who pre-ordered The Taken King, Bungie Help said, “All players who qualify for the pre-order Suros weapons, Emblem and Shader will receive these items when The Taken King launches on 9/15/15.”
