PlayStation Plus League Is a PS4 eSports Platform Where You Can Compete to Win Money

Earlier today, the Project CARS Twitter account revealed that the game was now available on PlayStation Plus League, “an online platform for eSports available to all PS Plus members.”

Specifically for Project CARS, it takes the “format of an ongoing Championship, players compete each week within their Division for points with the aim of climbing higher.” The top players will compete in a Gold Division for a monthly prize pool of €150, while Silver Division players compete for a monthly prize pool of €50.

After doing a little digging, IGN discovered the PlayStation Plus League website, which reveals that you’ll be able to compete in a variety of games, including Ultra Street Fighter IV, Rocket League, Battlefield Hardline, DriveClub, Mortal Kombat X, and FIFA 16, with cash prizes being given out.

The website says:

  • Throughout the year, many Championships on the main PS4 games.
  • Several seasons to renew the pleasure of playing and regularly try to defend your title…
  • Divisions to find opponents to your own level.
  • Finales online and offline to become the true champion of the PlayStation Plus LEAGUE!

It looks like many tournaments begin on Tuesday, November 3, so don’t be surprised if Sony officially unveils PlayStation Plus League later today during their Paris Games Week press conference.
