Nioh Director Plans to Continue Expanding and Improving the Game Following Release

Nioh director, Fumihiko Yasuda, has said that Koei Tecmo plans to continue taking fan feedback into account and supporting the game post-release. In an interview with Siliconera, he said that the feedback he received following the alpha enabled Team Ninja to “expand a lot of features” and an improved version (beta) will be out in August. He continued:

Based on that we’re going to have more feedback and we’re going to take that into account for the release version. The way that we’ve been developing this game is that we keep taking in user feedback and keep improving and expanding on the game. Even post-release our hope is to continue to do so.

Koei Tecmo has been emphasizing on feedback following the Nioh demo that was released briefly back in April. The publisher released an entire list of changes that it’ll be making to the game. In case you missed them, head over here.

Nioh is scheduled for release sometime this year for the PlayStation 4.
