Visceral Takes a Stab at Jack The Ripper

Jack The Ripper

EA’s Visceral Games may have recently lost some of its key staff to Activision, but that hasn’t stopped them working on three different game projects – the God of War look-a-like Dante’s Inferno, the sequel to 2008’s glorious gorefest Dead Space, and an unknown game. Since their change of name, Visceral has been living up to their bloody namesake producing violent and gruesome games, now recent insider whispers and trademark filings provide strong evidence about what the next murderous game under production at the EA studio is.

Two sources close to EA told The LA Times that Visceral’s next game would be about Jack the Ripper, the infamous British serial killer from the 19th century. Additionally, Superannuation have uncovered two trademarks that add further credence to this rumor. However, with Dante’s Inferno scheduled to come out this February, and Dead Space 2 still in the pipeline, don’t expect Jack the Ripper to be released before late 2010 or 2011.
