Release Date For Medal of Honor Announced

Medal of Honor is looking like one of the most promising shooters releasing this year. Featuring awe-inspiring visuals and entertaining classic MOH gameplay, EA are looking to take back the shooter category. Fans will be delighted to know the release date for the reboot, and EA have announced just that.

Electronic Arts upcoming first-person shooter, Medal of Honor, will be released on October 12th in North America and October 15th in Europe.

The game’s executive producer, Greg Goodrich, said:

Medal of Honor is an authentic look into today’s war. Inspired by real people and real events, the game puts players in the boots of today’s warrior — from the infantry ground pounder to the Tier 1 Operator,

Goodrich goes on to comment about an upcoming trailer for Medal of Honor entitled, “Leave A Message”:

We are proud of this piece because it offers a glimpse into the game we’re creating, while also showing the mindset of these warriors.

Medal of Honor will be using not one, but two engines. One for the campaign mode and the other is solely for multiplayer. EA shooter’s lead platform is the PlayStation 3.
