Nihilistic Software aims to prove that the PS Vita is capable of offering a solid online FPS multiplayer experience with their upcoming title Resistance: Burning Skies. The team has just released a multiplayer-centric trailer that details the game’s robust online offerings.
As detailed in the trailer below, Burning Skies features online matches that support up to eight players at a time, with the option to go 2v2 or 4v4. Three different modes will be available for players to choose from, including the standard Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and an unknown mode that will be unveiled very soon.
Those looking to get in on the action right away have to option to select Quick Match, while those looking to play with friends can make use of the Vita’s Party app to group together. As one might expect from a Resistance game, players will be able to gain experience, customize their arsenal and unlock upgrades.
