NewEgg: PS Vita Version of Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus Gets a Box Art, Multiplayer Mention, ESRB Rating

We’re going to start off this post by pointing you towards the Amazon France listings for Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus that first got the ball rolling on a possible PlayStation Vita version of the game, while also mentioning how NewEgg’s image looks quite real, but it’s still best to treat everything as a rumor (especially the multiplayer part) until we get official confirmation from Sony.

Okay, after previously throwing up their own listing for Into the Nexus, NewEgg has updated it with the below image:

If you couldn’t quite make it out, the box has the same art as the PS3 version, an E10+ rating by the ESRB, the typical back of the box game description (below), and most interestingly, what appears to be the mention of multiplayer both online and through ad-hoc:

After one of the most infamous manhunts in galactic history results in the capture of Vendra Prog, Ratchet and Clank offer to escort the dangerous criminal to the Vartax Detention Center. After a daring orbital jailbreak at the forgotten edge of the galaxy, Ratchet and Clank find themselves lost in an abandoned sector. There, in deepest space, they uncover an inter-dimensional event that threatens the universe – and forces Ratchet to decide what’s really important.

Hopefully we’ll hear from Sony regarding the legitimacy of this listing, but like we said above, take this all as a rumor until we’re given official confirmation.
