Calling it a “thrilling party-arena multiplayer game based on the popular Digimon franchise,” Bandai Namco announced that Digimon All-Star Rumble will release at retail in North America on November 11 and Europe this fall for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
Taking place during a time of peace in the Digital World, Digimon realize they still need to battle in order to Digi-volve, so the first ever Digimon Evolution Tournament is held to determine who is the strongest of all. In the tournament, up to four players can choose from 12 different Digimon (and a total of 32 Digimon forms) appearing in the Digimon Adventure to Digimon Fusion TV series’.
Chris Gilbert, Senior VP of Marketing and Sales at Bandai Namco America, said:
The Digimon brand has enjoyed a dedicated following for well over a decade and boasts an incredibly devoted and passionate fan base with more than one million followers on the official Digimon Fusion Facebook page alone. We are especially pleased to see Digimon fans rallying support for future Digimon video games to be localized in the Americas. With Digimon All-Star Rumble, we look forward to delivering a battle arena game experience that Digimon fans can really be excited to get their hands on.
