One of the big reveals during EA’s gamescom press conference was the official reveal of Star Wars Battlefront’s Fighter Squadron game mode.
Now, if you didn’t like the prepared baked footage DICE showed on stage, then lucky for you that someone at gamescom just snagged over five minutes of off-screen Star Wars Battlefront Fighter Squadron gameplay — and yes, it’s being played on a PlayStation 4.
Fighter Squadron will have 10 vs. 10 players, with an additional 20 ships being controlled by AI for a total of 40 on-screen at any given time. This was revealed during EA’s Star Wars Battlefront Q&A that happened just a few days ago, which revealed a bit more about customization, Battlelog and more.
Will you be playing Fighter Squadron when Battlefront is released or will you be sticking to more traditional infantry-based modes?
