Just Cause 3 may only be out the gates, but already developer Avalanche Studios has two “action-packed” sandbox games incubating in pre-production.
That’s according to Studio Founder Christofer Sundberg, who took to Twitter to issue a hiring call for both projects.
Yesterday we launched #JustCause3. Want to join our team to help us create two new action-packed sandbox games? https://t.co/yWeC8DIWKS

Digging a little deeper through the careers advertised, and many of the openings are spread across Avalanche’s New York and native Stockholm studios. After wrapping up work on this year’s Mad Max, the latter developer is advertising for a 3D Artist, one that will be drafted in to work on an “exciting and unique high-profile unannounced title.”
On the other side of the pond, the company’s New York hub is seeking a Senior Character Artist to join a AAA production, which is also targeting a release on PS4, Xbox One and PC. Could one of these projects be in relation to Just Cause 4?
Before talk of a sequel begins, though, it’s worth keeping in mind that Just Cause 3 remains in a sorry state.
