Shadow Warrior 2 Targeting September Release for PC, PS4 and Xbox One Versions to Follow

When the official Shadow Warrior 2 Twitter account teased last week that the game will be out “in less than two months,” quite a few outlets assumed that we’re looking at an October release. However, Gamereactor spoke to publisher Devolver Digital, who has revealed that the title will be out in September on PC, with PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions to follow.

“It’s coming out next month, we haven’t set the date yet, but we are… it’s gonna come out next month,” Devolver Digital’s Nigel Lowrie said during QuakeCon 2016. “PC first. PC is the first platform, then it’s coming out to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One after that.”

Add another shooter to the list of Fall 2016 video game releases!

In related news, we were recently told that the game is targeting 30fps/1080p for consoles but that might change for PS4 Neo and Xbox One Scorpio. You can read more on that here.
