According to leaks from multiple retailers, Activision is planning on releasing Zombies Chronicles for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, which is a piece of DLC featuring eight remastered Zombies maps. The below image lists a placeholder date of December 31 and says it’s coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Here’s the translated descriptions of the Zombies Chronicles physical release from the different retailers:
Call of Duty Black Ops 3 Zombie Chronicles is the latest set that includes the original Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 gameplay complete with Zombie Chronicles – 8 original maps renewed for the next generation of Call of Duty.
It is a full suite which brings the original contents of Black Ops 3 and the content of Zombie Chronicles, includes 8 classic maps of Treyarch Zombies remastered and all the maps include the Gobblegum function.
Reddit user ZeBraTurtieHD also posted what appears to be an email from Amazon customer service. According to the response, Zombies Chronicles will be out on June 27.
Since Activision has yet to confirm Zombies Chronicles, treat all of this as a rumor for now.
Back in December, Treyarch said Black Ops 3 would have “another healthy and fun year of updates in 2017.”
In other Call of Duty news, Call of Duty: WWII will be fully unveiled on Wednesday, April 26. Leaks have already revealed the description and release date of November 3.
