Battlefield 1 Update 1.10 Is 4.2GB on PS4, Adds Nivelle Nights Map

Update: The official patch notes are live, revealing details on the new Best Squad feature:

We have added a new screen at the end of the match, highlighting the best squad in the game. Our data has shown that players playing as part of a platoon are generally playing better than others, so if you haven’t already done so, it is time to find a platoon. Original Story: Weighing in at 4.2GB on PlayStation 4, 9.7GB on Xbox One, and 3.4GB on PC, Battlefield 1 update 1.10 is now available to download, players have revealed.

Official patch notes haven’t been posted by DICE yet, but we know today’s update includes the Nivelle Nights map, and also makes Frontlines available to all players on Argonne Forest and Amiens. To access Nivelle Nights, you’ll have to own either a Premium Pass or They Shall Not Pass.

Here’s the description for Nivelle Nights:

Coming in June for Battlefield 1 Premium Pass and They Shall Not Pass Expansion Pack owners, Nivelle Nights takes the fight to Chemin des Dames, 1917.

  • Fight at Night – As darkness falls over the muddy battlefields around Malmaison and Soupir, French and German batteries prepare to yet again support their troops on the contested ground.
  • Trench-Based Warfare – The moon, the searchlights, and the artillery light up the night skies, exposing the vast network of trenches. Bite and hold as your foe will fight for every inch of ground.

In July, the Prise de Tahure map will be released for Premium Pass/They Shall Not Pass Owners, and DICE will be holding events around that time where everyone can access maps exclusive to Premium Pass owners.

For the expansions, In the Name of the Tsar, which is “the most extensive Battlefield expansion pack so far,” will be out in September 2017. This will be followed by Turning Tides in December and Apocalypse in early 2018.

Although it doesn’t have a firm release date yet, DICE says “the CTE (Community Test Environment) will be available on consoles soon.”
