Overwatch League Preseason Play Kicks Off Tomorrow

The Overwatch League’s Opening Day isn’t for another five weeks, but that doesn’t mean teams aren’t prepping for play. Blizzard has announced that preseason play for the League kicks off tomorrow for Europe, as Overwatch League teams are able to take the stage for the first time at the Blizzard Arena in Los Angeles.

For those looking to catch some of the preseason play when it kicks off tomorrow, the Overwatch League website and the Major League Gaming site will both be streaming as teams compete in a series in exhibition matches. As it stands, three matches are scheduled each day starting at 12:00 GMT on Thursday, December 7 and continuing through Sunday, December 10. The full schedule of matches can be viewed at the Overwatch League site.

While Opening Day isn’t slated to begin until January 10, preseason offers a chance for teams to get the rust out of their systems and prepare for the real deal. When the preseason kicks off tomorrow, fans will also be able to support their favorite Overwatch team by picking up officially licensed shirts, jackets, New Era hats, and other merch over at the Blizzard Gear Store.

On the gameplay side, Overwatch just recently got its latest patch to the game, including changes to Moira and other improvements, some of which you can check out below:
