Tomb raider photo challenge

In the ongoing campaign to promote player photography in Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Square Enix has begun its newest challenge this week by compelling players to bring out their inner “Apex Predator.” Players who want to participate in the challenge are required to take a screenshot of Lara in the midst of death-defying combat. After you’ve edited and perfected your portrait of digital carnage, you’re to post the photo on social with the #SOTTR_PhotoContest hashtag by October 14, 2018. Winners will be featured on the official Tomb Raider Twitter page for fans to see.

Last week’s photography challenge was “Air-Time,” challenging players to capture Lara Croft in her more daring airborne stunts.

In Keri Honea’s review of Shadow of the Tomb Raider, she emphasized the importance of maintaining a stealthy approach when going up against a horde of enemies decked out in full-grade military gear, which might leave you a little exposed in the challenge to capture an unarmored individual taking on a squadron of trained killers. But that’s where the fun lies, doesn’t it? Besides, even if you die in the process, there’s always a good chance that you’ll score a sweet pic before you get turned into Swiss cheese.

What photo challenges do you hope to see appear in the coming weeks? Let us know in the comments!
