Hogwarts Legacy Accessibility Features List

Avalanche Software and WB Games have released a list of Hogwarts Legacy difficulty and accessibility features. The companies reiterated that their games are for everyone, and renewed their commitment to craft experiences that can be tailored to players’ needs.

Full list is as follows:

Visual

  • Text-to-speech
  • Colorblind modes
  • Display settings (brightness, motion blur, chromatic aberration, depth of field, and film grain)
  • Text scaling
  • High contrast text
  • High contrast gameplay
  • Camera shake intensity adjustment
  • Screen magnifier

Auditory

  • Separate volume controls (music, sound effects, dialogue, text-to-speech volume)
  • Subtitles
  • Spatial audio
  • Audio visualizer

Motor

  • Aim mode (hold, toggle)
  • Invert axis
  • Sticks swap (default is Left Stick for movement and Right Stick for camera controls while aiming)
  • Sensitivity (cursor, aiming, camera can all be tweaked separately)
  • Follow camera speed (speed at which the camera turns to face the direction in which the avatar is going)
  • PS5 exclusive motion sensor function (uses DualSense gyro)

Cognitive

  • Difficulty options (Story, Easy, Normal, and Hard – can be changed any time)
  • Tutorials
  • Objective reminders and guidance

General

  • Tooltips for settings
  • Auto saves and manual saves
