Hideo Kojima’s Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker is receiving the treatment a big blockbuster console game would normally receive. The PSP title will be teaming up with several companies including Mountain Dew, iPod, and various clothing outlets. The title will also receive some action figures.
The action figures are based on the game’s protagonist, Big Boss (Naked Snake). The toys will be released in North America this summer, and will carry a price tag of $14.99.
Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker is slated for a June 8th release for North America, and a June 18th release for Europe. The game is now available for pre-order, and a new limited edition Peace Walker PSP is available for pre-order as well.
