Dead Space 2 Bound for 2011

For followers of Dead Space 2, the sequel to Dead Space, the phenomenal title from Visceral Games, there is some bad news. If you wanted to get your hands on the title this holiday, it seems like you will have to wait just a little bit longer, before you can get your hands on Isaac Clarke’s latest adventure.

Mega-publisher Electronic Arts is pushing the game back to its fourth quarter of fiscal year 2011, according to EA’s recently released fiscal results. That falls between January and March of next year. Technically, the game never had a solid release date, or even timeframe for that matter. Still, the mere fact that it is coming out next year, instead of this holiday season, the most logical release period for a game of this genre, stings.

Does this ‘delay’ bother you? Or does the feeling of extra development time comfort you? Post your responses in the comments section below.
