Yoshida: “I Don’t Think” The Last Guardian Will be at TGS 2014

Since it’s a big event where key members of Sony are present, someone had to ask about The Last Guardian, and Eurogamer did just that at gamescom this week.

Speaking with Sony Worldwide Studios President Shuhei Yoshida, they asked if we might see The Last Guardian at Tokyo Game Show next month.

Shuhei replied:

I don’t think so. Sorry.

He was then asked when we might see it:

When we are ready. I cannot confirm any timing because we are waiting for it to be in a state where we are happy that this is the game. We have a certain time frame in our mind, and the team is making great progress, but still not to the point that we can say that, here you go.

With Sony making the decision to move Until Dawn from PlayStation 3 to PlayStation 4, it would make sense that The Last Guardian receives the same treatment, but we’ll just have to keep waiting until we know if that’s true or not.
