PlayStation App & PlayStation Messages App Updated to Version 4.0

With PlayStation 4 update 4.00 now available, Sony has released new updates for the PlayStation App and PlayStation Messages App on iOS and Android. Here’s what changed:

PlayStation App (iOS Version 4.0.7, Android Version 4.0.5)

  • You can now change your avatar from the [Edit Profile] menu on your profile screen.
  • Stability during use of some features has been improved.

PlayStation Messages App (iOS Version 4.0.13, Android Version 4.0.25.7245)

  • The number of messages that can be saved has been increased.
  • You can now see [Players Met] on the Friends screen.
  • You can now see older messages that were sent before you were added to the group.
  • You can now crop an image that you’re attaching to a message.
  • Search has been simplified to finding Friends and other players only.
  • Stability during use of some features has been improved.
