Released back in June 2016 on PC, Starbreeze has announced that multiplayer horror game Dead by Daylight will be making its way to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One digitally later this year.

Dead by Daylight has already sold more than 1.8 million copies digitally on Steam, which is no easy feat for a horror game. Final release date and price will be announced at a later date according to the press release.

Check out PC gameplay of Dead by Daylight in the video above. The game’s official description reads:

Dead by Daylight is an asymmetrical multiplayer horror game in which one crazed killer hunts four friends through a terrifying nightmare. Players take on the role of both killer and survivors in a deadly game of cat and mouse. It’s a Mature Gamer take on the thrills of Hide & Seek.

Will Dead by Daylight be the next horror game hit? If the game’s PC audience is anything to go by, it could very well be.

Are you familiar with Dead by Daylight? Will you pick it up when it’s out on consoles later this year?
