Final Fantasy XV’s Episode Ignis DLC Launches in December 2017

After beating the Episode Prompto DLC for Final Fantasy XV, which is now available in Australia ahead of launching tomorrow in Europe and North America, the above teaser trailer unlocks. Featuring potential spoilers, the video includes a short scene, followed by a December 2017 release date announcement for Episode Ignis.

Last year, Square Enix had this to say about Episode Ignis, “A completely original episode focused on Noctis’ companion Ignis. In this episode, you can control Ignis as a playable character.”

Square Enix hasn’t said when the Multiplayer Expansion: Comrades DLC is coming to Final Fantasy XV. Whenever it does come out, you’ll need a PlayStation Plus membership to access the multi-play mode.

If you’re planning on getting Episode Prompto tomorrow, don’t forget that there’s an 8.7GB update waiting for you on PlayStation 4.

Episode Prompto will cost $4.99 USD if you don’t own the Season Pass, and the Australian PlayStation Store says it’s a 3.1GB download. Episode Ignis will also be $5 when it launches.
