A Dutch PR company has revealed to Gamer.nl that they’re handling the PR for Dragon Quest XI in the West, confirming in the process that the game is coming to the West.
No other details were provided, so it remains to be seen when Dragon Quest XI will hit North America and Europe, and what platforms it will be available for.
Dragon Quest XI: In Search of Departed Time launches on July 29 in Japan for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo 3DS. A Nintendo Switch version is also in development.
Back in 2015, Square Enix said they’d consider a Western release for Dragon Quest XI. Then, earlier this year, Dragon Quest Executive Producer Yu Miyake said they were trying to promote spinoff titles Dragon Quest Builders and Dragon Quest Heroes in the West “in order to soften up the ground for Dragon Quest XI.”
