When Uncharted 2: Among Thieves released back in October of last year, it quickly exploded onto the scene and became one of the most well-received games of all time. Even with that milestone completed, the Uncharted 2 team at Naughty Dog desired to outsell the first Uncharted. Thankfully, according to sales data, Naughty Dog have met their goal.
According to sales charts, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves has officially not only sold over 2.5 million copies, but has already outsold the original Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune. With a whopping 2.59 million copies sold worldwide, Uncharted 2 is well on its way to becoming one of PlayStation 3’s best-selling titles.
Uncharted 2 was widely hailed as arguably the best game of 2009, and was the official winner of the PlayStation LifeStyle Game of the Year 2009 award.
