Bodycount is “Not Trying to Beat Call of Duty”

Competition is fierce in the world of first-person shooters. Many FPS titles try to beat each other at the same game. However, one developer refuses to play that game with his latest title, Bodycount.

Speaking with PlayStation: The Official Magazine, Bodycount creator Stuart Black has said that his latest title is not out to beat the Call of Duty series, and has its “own things” that players will find enjoyable.

“We’re not trying to beat CoD. We’re going off on our own path. We have our own values, and our own things that we think are going to be fun for a player. We’re not worried about what other people are doing.”

Bodycount is the spiritual successor to Black, a first-person shooter released in 2006. Bodycount is scheduled to debut early next year.
