One of the greatest things about the Marvel vs. Capcom fighting series, was the game’s ability to bring a slew of characters from various franchises and make them deal pain to each other in style. For the third installment of Capcom’s tag-team brawler, look’s like we’ll get to see some real “viewtiful” style getting mixed into the fray.
Jim Rugg, who is known for his comic book Street Angel, posted some pics on his blog about a limited edition tee shirt that would make an appearance at this year’s Comic-Con. Turns out that his little comic had some teasers of two new characters: a possible Dormammu, and the action hero Viewtiful Joe.
Viewtiful Joe had already made his first fighting debut in the Wii’s Tatsunoko vs Capcom, where he proved that he could put up a stylish fight against his much larger opponents. Although Capcom, hasn’t officially announced his character to appear on Marvel vs Capcom 3, the back of this tee shirt design is definitely giving us some “red hot” anticipation for his appearance in the next series.
Look for Marvel vs. Capcom 3 to battle it out in Spring 2011.
