Bethesda has released a new trailer for upcoming first-person action title from Arkane Studios, Dishonored.
The new CG trailer tells the story of the game’s protagonist, a former bodyguard of an Empress who was framed for her murder. While in prison, he gains supernatural abilities and dons a mask (which quickly becomes his calling card) as he strikes back against the corrupt government of the city that he lives in. The second part of the trailer shows the protagonist battling an official’s bodyguards before taking him out. He exits the official’s room only to land in front of two Tallboys and they all power up to attack before the trailer closes with the game’s logo, the game’s tagline (“Revenge Solves Everything,”), the official site URL and the game’s Twitter hashtag, #dishonored.

Dishonored is currently scheduled to release for PS3, Xbox 360, and PC sometime in 2012.
