Get a Look at Nilin in Action via Remember Me Gameplay Footage From Gamescom

Capcom has finally released the gameplay footage of their recently unveiled new IP Remember Me that was first shown off at gamescom.

Right off the bat, the game’s futuristic Paris setting will have you intrigued. Following a quick view of the city, the demonstrator assumes control of the game’s protagonist Nilin, who looks pretty ticked off about something.

You’ll notice that the transitions from cutscenes to gameplay are incredibly seamless, clearly inspired by Uncharted’s approach to storytelling. Also, much like Naughty Dog’s action title, Remember Me features interactive cinematic moments and platforming. The fighting however, appears to take a few pages out of Arkham City’s book. And, as emphasized in the past, stealing memories plays a major role.

See for yourself below.

Remember Me is set to launch in May of next year on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Let us know what you thought of the footage in the comments below.
