E3 2015 – Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Multiplayer Debuts, Beta First on PS4

Update:

Activision has sent over the official press release, and mentioned that fans can pre-order the game to get beta access.

Check out the official details here.

Original Story:

In continuing with Sony’s “WTF” E3 moments, Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 — yes, the same Call of Duty associated with the Xbox brand — has now seemingly shacked up with Sony and the PlayStation 4.

If not being mentioned during the Xbox presser and debuting Black Ops 3  multplayer gameplay over at Sony’s showcase isn’t a confirmation, I don’t know what is.

Shown in the video is not exactly the usual multiplayer we’re used to, but a different beast. Wall running, high jumps and more are in this new iteration of the mega-shooter.

Additionally, new weapons, killstreaks, and even a mech is featured as well. All this while Andrew House announces that Black Ops 3 map packs will be available first (!) on the PS4, and what’s more, the Black Ops 3 multiplayer beta will be playable first on the PS4.

Call of Duty PlayStation fans, rejoice! Stay tuned to our Black Ops 3 multiplayer hands-on preview later in the week.

Before the multiplayer stuff, Treyarch also revealed Black Ops 3 co-op as well, which can be seen below
