Call of Duty needs no introduction. The three-studio franchise gets its fair share of praises and criticisms, but is most known for being one of the most successful first-person shooter series ever. However, with annual releases also comes franchise fatigue and Call of Duty isn’t exempt from it.
Having run a successful beta, Treyarch seems quite confident about the upcoming Black Ops 3, and admittedly, everything we’ve seen so far has looked more promising than the franchise’s recent entries. We’ve already discussed what we’d consider an ultimate Call of Duty game, but whether Treyarch manages to please fans and critics alike remains to be seen.
