Sony Announces Collectible Cards Will Return to PlayStation Experience 2017

If you’ve ever been to a PlayStation Experience, you might have seen a bunch of collectible cards with popular Sony pictures on them floating around the show floor. Those are the PlayStation Collectible Cards, and for the third straight year they will once again be at PlayStation Experience.

According to Sony, they wrapped up Series Two of the cards with card #75 at the Road to Greatness Tour and card #76 at their E3 Experience. Series Three will begin with card #77 and will contain around three dozen new cards which will all be released at the 2017 PlayStation Experience in Anaheim, California this December.

Attendees will also get a chance to earn PlayStation Trophy Cards at the event by completing certain “quests” at the event. No word on what those will be, but Sony has promised more information via the Experience PlayStation app once you the show starts.

For more information on the Trophy Cards and how they function, check out below:

Your Bronze Trophy card is already “in the bag” (meaning you’ll get one just for attending — it’ll literally be in your gift bag). You may be asking, “How can I get the rest of the cards?” The answer is simple (sorta). They’ll be located at certain locations and booths on the show floor, and you might even need to play a demo to earn some of them. Which locations/booths/demos? Well, you’ll need to figure that out on your own. Don’t worry, I believe in you (and reddit).
